Missing your Network applet from Ubuntu – nm-applet

Are you trying to restart the nm-applet but getting a lot of errors maybe this is because nm-applet is running!
You can see all running processes with: ps -A
Or use a ‘filter’ to see applets: ps -A | grep -i applet
You may have removed the ’Notification area’ from top panel,
To put it back do the following,
- right click on top panel, “Add to Panel…”
- click on Notification Area
- Add, close

Geek Tip #4 – Enable Administrator login on Win 7

Below is an easy way to allow you to login as Administrator on Windows 7
- Enable the Administrator Account
Start a command prompt with elevated privileges by clicking the Start Button then select All Programs, Now navigate to Accessories, right-click Command Prompt and then select Run as administrator. - At the command prompt type net user administrator /active:yes and then press Enter.
- Restart or log off your computer and log in as Administrator.
Geek Tip #3 – Got Outlook and Itunes and Outlook wont close

Outlook 2003 wont close? Check you add-ins manager and com-addins.
More than likely if you run iTunes and Outlook you find that iTunes Com Addin loads at startup and prevents Outlook from closing completly.
By removing the iTunes Com Addin you will loose the ability to sync contacts etc with Outlook but will allow you to close Outlook.
If you have multiple profiles on Outlook this can cause a bit of a bother.
